'Self Portrait Aged 35', oil on canvas, signed, entitled and detailed on reverse. Note: This is a major self portrait of Stenberg. Born Auckland 1919 he was accepted into Elam School of Art at the age of 12 due to his exceptional artistic ability. He became a senior lecturer and head of department at the Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee in Scotland and also served as an official artist for the Black Watch Battalion during the battalion's last days in Germany in WWII. 560 x 410. $5,500-$6,500
