Benvenuto Cellini and Paolo Veronese, after Albert Carrier Belleuse (1824-1887), both standing on ebonised wooden plinths. Height 600 ea. Note: Benvenuto Cellini (1500–1571) was an Italian goldsmith, sculptor, draftsman, soldier, musician, and artist who was one of the most important artists of Mannerism. He is remembered for his skill in making pieces such as the Cellini Salt Cellar and Perseus with the Head of Medusa. Paolo Veronese (1528–1588), was an Italian Renaissance painter.
