watercolour, signed indistinctly (lower right). 235 x 365mm. Note: Auckland-based Wright and his brother worked with Stanhope Forbes at the Newlyn School in Cornwall. This influence carried with them through their artistic careers. A number of Māori themed works are in the collection of the Waikato Museum.
