Showing "The Astrolabe holed on the reefs close to Tonga Tapu (in 1827 during the visit of Dumont d'Urville), with the crew on board, the ships boats lowered and Tongans on shore in the foreground and coming to the ship in canoes, including a large outrigger canoe on the right, with a superstructure. Other Tongans, in the left foreground, are holding a pig and looking at a book and possibly a map (or a piece of tapa)"
