'Book Illustrations', ink, watercolour and gouache on paper, signed, entitled on reverse. 575 x 435mm. Note: Stenberg, born Auckland 1919 had a long and distinguished career as an artist. He studied at Elam in the early 1930s with Archie Fisher and John Weeks being influential tutors. A large part of Stenberg's career was as an illustrator, noted here and internationally, the quality of his work is evident in the nine figure study of this work.
