hammer finished barrel shape with applied wire tendrils and ceramic cabochons, inscribed 'B.G.W. d.d (donum dedit) H.G, August xii, 1908'. Hallmarked Birmingham 1906. H.80mm. Provenance: The Estate of Emeritus Professor Brian Coote CBE, FRSNZ (1929 - 2019). Proceeds to the Scholarship Fund set up by the late Professor Coote is to assist University of Auckland law graduates with post-graduate study at an overseas university.
