signed Zach and with makers marks Argentor-Werke of Vienna to the base, the kneeling seller with jar presents a drinking cup. The figurine is screwed on flat bronze base. H.135mm. Note: Zach emigrated to Austria, studied at the Vienna Academy becoming a renowned sculptor of Orientalist subjects and works often incorporating the seedy side of nightlife in Berlin, notably tall, athletic, dominating women.
