'Extensive South Island River, Bush and Alpine Scene', watercolour on paper, signed. 400 x 580mm. Note: Boscawen was in N.Z. with the Flying Squadron, 1869-70 (Royal Navy) retiring in 1870. Again, coming to N.Z. in 1876 joining the Lands & Survey Department, becoming Chief Clerk in Auckland.
