the 56 pieces comprising; six each table knives, entree knives, table forks, entree forks, fish knives, soup spoons, dessert spoons and teaspoons together with four fish forks, one cake slice, one sauce ladle medium, one sauce ladle small and one caddy spoon. Stamped markers to back of each piece. Note: Jensen born 1866 just north of Copenhagen was the son of a knife grinder, he began training in goldsmithing at the age of 14. His love of sculpture was enhanced through his study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts graduating in 1892. As an artist craftsman he gained international recognition with retail stores in Berlin, London and New York, all by 1924, the brand bearing his name continues today.
