painted and glazed ceramic, signed and dated 1986, 540mm (H) Christine Thacker is an internationally renowned ceramic artist, beginning her pottery journey in the 1970s at the Cambridgeshire Pottery in England. She is the recipient of several awards including the 2013 winner of the Merit Certificate and the 2015 Premier Award from Auckland Studio Potters annual exhibition. She is represented by Bowen Galleries in Wellington. Provenance: From the collection of a retired Auckland architect.
