the push button release for the flip top (at 12 o'clock) revealing the white enamel dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. Screw on back. The 15 jewel movement and 935 silver case both signed. Running. Dia.34mm. The flip cover engraved 'T.C. Sim 53822 H.Coy. 27th REINFTS. 9.6.17'. Note: Thomas Charles Sim of Gore, Southland, is noted in the online Cenotaph as a rifleman.
