the murrine panelled turtles back cold worked with a matt carved dimpled effect. The head and flippers with included amber brown patches replicating natural colourings, raised on a substantial mainly clear glass scrolling support with diamond form base, some included coloured layers. 740 x 670 x 420mm. Unmarked. Provenance: Gifted to Mercy Hospice by an Auckland Gentleman returning to his country of origin, proceeds to Mercy Hospice. Purchased in Italy.
