Guangdong, China, c.1875. Pyriform shaped bottle of buff coloured clay. Flat, indented base, integral foot ring, globular body, short neck with a narrow mouth and an everted rim. Mould join visible around mid-body; kiln flaw to shoulder. Excluding the resting surface, covered in a thin brown glaze; the upper body and interior with a thick blueish black and brown glaze.
