Provenance: Ex. the estate of Phyllis Brusey of Wellington, a noted N.Z. antique dealer, Wellington based, through a good part of the mid-20thC and director and chairperson of the N.Z. Opera company, her memoirs are recorded in the book she wrote 'Ring Down the Curtain', first published 1973. Mrs Brusey inherited this bedroom suite from her parents and it remained with her for her life even managing to squeeze it into her last home, a penthouse Oriental Bay apartment. It was purchased by our vendor from her estate auction, Wellington c.1980s. Note: Three further parts of this suite are following lots.
