Provenance: Bought at Traquair House, Scotland, August 1990. Silk thread on linen. Previous backing board section attached inscribed: From Ernest Brewill, Thorn Villa, Wilford, Notts. This sampler was exhibited in the Nottingham Castle during the 'Stuart Period Exhibition' July 1935
