Lot Details
An Elizabethan / Tudor bodkin used for lacing up garments. Of lozenge section, matched engraving to the wide faces and with pricked initals 'M.C' to one side. With 'ear spoon', rounded end for holding wax used to smooth ends of ribbon before threading through the needles eye. L.165mm.
