Lot Details

ebonised brass frame, the brass and silvered inlaid scale with maker's name. Complete with telescope and lenses, in original fitted mahogany case. One hinge requires attention. Note: The quintant is a similar instrument to a sextant, it differs by its arc being one fifth of a circle and its horizon and index glasses are larger, it also has a special telescope.
