with unusual breakfront configuration with central tambour roll top enclosing a fitted interior with sliding writing surface with tooled leather insert, above panelled doors flanked by two recessed cupboards. Burr timber panels. Note: Previously viewed by William Cottrell who recognised the maker but his name unknown. From the estate of a private Auckland woman who had a lifelong interest in collecting antiques.
