shape no. 0194, designed by Archibald Knox in his trademark British Arts & Crafts style and retailed by Liberty & Co, c. 1905. The swollen square form, decorated with a cast low relief trellis of Art Nouveau flowers. While sold as a biscuit box it is often referred to as a tea caddy or just ‘box’. 120 x 120 x 115mm.
