in light timber, the subtly curved arms and top rail supported with panels carved with foliate designs, the square seats raised on square section legs with lotus flower panels carved to a frieze beneath the seat and united by stretchers. Height 1050mm. Provenance: From the Estate collection of Mr Charles Cox (passed away 1992), an Auckland businessman who collected his entire life.
