the hand coloured photo by S.P. Andrew of a young woman wearing a pale blouse. The silver frame with rope border and enclosed back named by the silversmith Reuben Watts.Dia.62mm. Note: Stanley Polkinghorne Andrew, 1878–1964 was one of New Zealand’s most renowned and accomplished portrait photographers. Based in Wellington, his studio operated on Willis Street from 1923 until the mid-1970s, documenting generations of Kiwis and prominent national figures.
