blue and white glaze with associated text. The lid with vacant cavity and professional repair. Painted full signature to base and impressed marks. Dia.145mm. Note: King Edward VIII never had a coronation. Although it was scheduled for May 12, 1937, he abdicated the throne in December 1936 to marry Wallis Simpson. His brother was crowned as King George VI on that exact date instead.
