hand painted enamel panels of romantic courting couples in a medieval pastoral landscapes. The windmill blades with conforming decoration. The working music box to the gilt hexagonal base and is guarded by a gilt beaded chain. Winding key the base, the blades rotate but are not mechanical. The top removeable dome reveals a small jewellery or small treasure compartment. H.230mm.
