Each in a gilt frame with plaque detailing the horse’s name, includes: 'Theodore 1837', 'Margrave 1832', 'The Colonel 1829', 'Charles XIIth 1839', 'Matilda 1827' and 'Rowton 1829'. Each image approx. 300 x 400mm, gilt framed. Note: John Scott (1794–1871) was a leading horse trainer in British Thoroughbred racing during the 19th century. Known as "The Wizard of the North," he was a brother to the successful jockey Bill Scott. Damage to the canvas of 'The Colonel 1829'.
