medieval inspired, pale majolica glazed, baluster shape raised from a dished plinth with lion supporters, four scroll handles issue from the echinus molded rim. The body sgraffito and low relief with a design of serpents transfiguring to foliate scrolls and cornucopia. Incised signature and Essex with molded castle mark. H.425mm
