both with similar carved moko designs. One with hands and fingers raised behind its head, the other with hands clasped to its front, long paua panel insert eyes. 880mm. Two raised fingers with repair. Provenance: Ex. the collection of the Buried Village Rotorua. Established in 1931 by our vendor's grandparents, remains in family ownership.
