with black stained detail to the moko and legs with kowhaiwhai design. Triple scroll shoulder detail, the kapeu (pendant) stained green, paua ring insert eyes. c1980's. H.820mm. Provenance: Ex. the collection of the Buried Village Rotorua. Established in 1931 by our vendor's grandparents, remains in family ownership.
