Lot Details

black stained highlights to the moko and mere held in the left hand. Full paua shell eye inserts. The hair held in a top knot, carved in an angular fashion. Rotorua carver unknown, early 1980's. H.1570mm. Provenance: Ex. the collection of the Buried Village Rotorua. Established in 1931 by our vendor's grandparents, remains in family ownership.
