Lot Details

suspended on a human hair belt with tassel, red ochre remnants to shell and hair; eccentrically drilled hourglass suspension hole. 20thC. 170 x 140mm. Belt approx 990mm. Provenance: Angela Saussehrd Collection, Queensland; noted as collected by an amateur anthropologist in the late 1960s, in the western part of the Northern Territory near Kintore. The Jorgen Lotz Collection.
