Two Aboriginal hafted stone axes, one reputedly from Boulia, West Queensland, gum mounted to branch haft. Provenance: Angela Saussehrd Collection. L.430mm. The other possibly Arnhem Land mounted in bent wood haft. L.310mm Provenance: private collection, recovered from a home in Prospect, S.A., once owned by a Mr. Brauer?, c.1930s, a geologist with connections to the ‘Australian Museum’. The Jorgen Lotz Collection.
