seated holding a club, wearing a dome shaped helmet. Reddish brown painted pigment. Note: there are distinct local styles of warrior chiefs in Pre-Columbian art. Warrior figures speak of the importance of raiding and small-scale warfare and the importance of tomb sculptures in commemorating military ritual. H 230mm.
