Lot Details
San Sebastian red-style Protoclassic, c.100 BC- AD 250. Standing with hands placed on her waist, her striated hair bound at the back in a tress. Adorned only with jewellery at the neck and arms. Reddish brown painted pigment with black resist decoration. H 550mm. Note: Auction comparison: An almost identical figure but of slightly smaller size was sold at Christies.
