Lot Details
Melpa People, painted in ochres with the sun design of a triangle within a disc with connecting radiating forms. With attached wealth currency moka kina shells and fibre binding to the top edge, remnants of old rope handle. Some bumps and chips. 1560 x 470mm. Provenance: Jorgen Lotz collection. Purchased from Jonathan Saussehred, Australia.
