Note: Harold William Young joined the Auckland Star as a lithographic artist before becoming a manager of the lithographic department in the early 1900s. In 1913 he left the newspaper and went into business as a professional artist. He became known for his numerous scenes of Auckland's West Coast and Waitakere.
