Note: Sir Grahame Sydney is one of New Zealand’s pre-eminent living artists. His iconic South Island landscapes are based on acutely observed pencil studies executed on site often recording details of colour / shade and other visual memory aids to assist in the creation of the finished artwork in his studio.
