the young Miss Rose stands with blushed cheeks wearing a white silk dress with blue ribbon highlights and shoes, holding a flower filled basket and floral spray, within an extensive landscape. In quality decorative ormolu frame. 305 x 260mm. Provenance: From a Devonport estate. Ex. David Cooke Antiques with letter of provenance 'Purchased by me in 1958. When purchased it was in a specially made oak box with lock...was written ‘Miss Grace Rose Sister of Mrs. Gertrude Rose of Mullaghcarn, Monaghan, Ireland.’ Together with biographical details.
