Lot Details

brass and steel slim tubular case mounted on a polished mahogany backing board. Sliding vernier marker to the mercury filled tube. Ebonised brass cased thermometer with silvered scale to the centre. Numbered 3713. A high-quality instrument in original condition and working order. L.1095mm.Note: Louis Pascal Casella of Hatton Gardens and Holborn Bars was maker to the Admiralty, Board of Ordnance, Governments and Observatories worldwide. In later rimu glazed door locking case.
