the impressive stylised flower head terminal with turquoise enamel highlights and entwined silver wire, hand beaten bowl. Maker's full name mark to reverse and STERLING. L.133mm. Note: A similar example held in Te Papa collection with the comment ‘This enameled silver spoon exemplifies Watts' commitment to the Arts & Crafts style, for which he became well-known in New Zealand from his arrival in 1900 until the 1930s.’
