Lot Details
Two-handled campana shape moulded with flowers, leaves, grapevines and Viking masks, each in three sections with octagonal plinth bases. Impressed marks Mauriceville Sanitary Pipe Co. Wairarapa, some considerable faults. Note: Mauriceville and the surrounding area was settled c.1870 by a government scheme that encouraged Scandinavian immigration. The Viking masks on these urns are representative of this history.
