Lot Details

The two māhē very finely engraved with extract text from a letter written by 'M. A. Hodgkinson (one of the artists relatives) who had settled with her family in the Nelson area from the 1840'. The longest piece 303mm. Together with original purchase receipt, copy extract supplied by the artist. Provenance: Purchased directly by our vendor from the artist. Note: Another set held in the collection of Te Papa, entitled 'Assemblage' from 2003.
