Calisher & Terry Military Breech Loading Rifle, caliber .30 bore. 33½" barrel, 51" overall, with walnut one-piece stock in excellent condition with one blackened ding under forewood.

The stock secured to barrel by cross wedge and front band that also retains the steel cleaning rod (which may be a replacement) issue jag-end short rod remains in the butt trap. Enfield-type sights, barrel marked: ‘Calisher & Terry, Makers to H.M War Department’, also ‘Terry's Patent 30 Bore’ at breech, which has small area of light usage pitting by nipple. Lock, engraved ‘Calisher & Terry London’ has narrow 2-line border and is crisp and strong. Serial number ‘1548’on steel trigger guard tang, which is missing its nipple protector swivel and chain. Sling swivels fitted to butt stock and front band. All metalwork has even grey patina with traces of original blue. Bore is very good. An exceptional Terry in VGWO&C.
