untitled young Bali woman, oil on canvas, signed and inscribed 'Bali '62'. 833 x 425mm. Note: Agus Djaya, born in Pandeglang, Banten, April 1, 1913 - died in Bogor, West Java, April 24, 1994 at the age of 81 years. During the Japanese occupation, he was recommended by Bung Karno to become the Chairperson of the Cultural Center of the Art Section (1942-1945). During the independence revolution, he was active as Colonel Intel and FP (Field Preparation), however after independence he returned to activity in the world of fine arts.
