Lot Details
pen and ink by Tadeusz Kulisiewicz (Poland 1899-1988). Including portraits of Lenin, Stalin and Mao as well as illustrations of the Spanish Civil and Korean Wars. Folio size 340 x 480mm. Plate size 260 x 300mm. Note: Published in 1953 by WAG (Wydawnictwo Artstyczno Graficzne); a Polish publishing house famous for taking the Social Realist School of poster art to the international market. The book was the result of Kulisiewicz's visit with a group of Polish artists to China in the early ‘50s.
