ART NOUVEAU DUTCH ARNHEM (GOUDA) POTTERY TWIN HANDLED VASE Cockerel Mark to Base. minor faults. H.275mm. Note: The Arnhemsche Faïencefabriek was one of the leading factories of what is called GOUDA Pottery. Founded in 1903 by the famous brothers Jacob and Klaas Vet who were educated at the Brantjes factory in Purmerend and Distel in Amsterdam, their company produced beautiful ornamental pottery. This vase probably dates to the c. 1915. The factory closed in 1928.
