Lot Details

PROVENANCE: Argyll Etkin, London, July 1996. 55x37x20 15.7gm (excl coins) hallmarked Birmingham 1910, maker A.L.D (Dennison) inside the lid. Spring closure works and the sprung coin silo works. Engraved with a 'Coat of Arms' to one face - a Māori portrait framed within the C of ASC, flanked by taiaha and tewhatewha above two patu and banderole engraved 'Auckland Savage Club'. The other side with script monogram owner's initials 'A.L.K' (small dent in the K area) and with A.S.C above and 1911 below
