PHARMACEUTICAL & HOROLOGICAL ITEMS Cordy’s is pleased to present the eclectic collections of Terry Sutcliffe. The product of over four decades of diligent collecting by a dedicated dealer and collector. Pieces range from the rare to the more modest. Terry has had a keen instinct to collect and record New Zealand's social and commercial history. and try to record the origin and provenance of as many of the items as he could, his aim in collecting has been to allow the items to be able to speak a little about their history and past, where possible. Most of the items in this auction have came into his collection due to scarcity, history, curiosity value or just his "must have it gene" He gathered a considerable amount of his collections into his private Te Mama Millennium Museum at his Remuera home. Now retired to Christchurch, Terry has for many years, been researching the history of horology in New Zealand with a view to publishing this amazing human and products story. He is looking forward to having more time to move forward on this quest.
