Note: Mona Malcolm (1913-1996) was an Auckland sculptor who taught sculpture at The Elam School of Fine Arts c1943 - 1950. It is noted that owing to the efforts of the La Trobe scheme sculptors, the years between the wars were important ones at the art schools. Their presence ensured professional instruction and encouragement.
