A Royal Doulton Lambeth lidded stoneware vase

Lot Details

squat ovoid shape with tall trumpet neck, the body with a caramel coloured glaze and decorated with six applied flowerhead motifs to the shoulder, a frieze of stylised acanthus leaves encircles the base, the neck glazed deep cobalt blue, the cover glazed similarly to the body. Impressed marks including 'Made For Claudius Ash & Sons London' (a Dental Supply Company) c.1904. Height 255.
