some light soiling likely removable w. wash. Traditional freehand rice paste resist indigo dying technique textile depicting auspicious motifs` folk tales` crests` etc. The beautiful and inventive technique of tsutsugaki was used in everday life for bedding material (yogi and futon)` wrapping cloths (furoshiki) and furniture covers (yutan).
