of rounded rectangular form, the hinged case with each section carved from a block of ivory with fitted interior for the five gilded and engraved silver and steel fittings: scissors, needlecase, thimble, bodkin and awl 110 x 55mm. Marked with boar's head French punch mark and an illegible makers mark.
